Use Salt for Gorgeous Skin, Hair, Teeth, and Nails

Our bodies contain the same concentration of minerals and nutrients as seawater, so it’s no wonder that sea salt is a natural ally to balance, protect, and restore the body and skin.

The mineral content is one of the major differences between ordinary salt and sea salt: Sea salt is laden with minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium, and all of which play a key role in our function, skin’s health, and cellular communication.

Symptoms such as dullness, dryness, irritation, and blotchiness ensue, especially as the dryer, colder weather comes in when your skin’s mineral balance is off-kilter. It can help balance and improve hydration if you bring sea salt from the kitchen into your beauty routine, this also helps kick-start the cell-to-cell communication signals that slow down with age and strengthen the protective barrier of our skin.
